World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)

Mr. Bajoe Wibowo, a national of Indonesia, has been working for 21 years at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and has represented WIPO as a speaker in more than 75 countries. He has handled many specialized assignments, dealing with issues related to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), Patent information, Intellectual Property (IP) and Economic Development, and was involved in the political process of the WIPO Development Agenda.

Presently he is Project Manager in the Office of the Deputy Director General, Development Sector, with special responsibility to manage, among other functions, the WIPO Match Platform – an online tool to match seekers of specific IP-related development needs with potential providers offering resources. He is one of the focal persons for South-South Cooperation Issues at WIPO.

Mr. Wibowo holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering, and also a Master’s Degree in Management from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland.
