Dr. Chuanhong ZHANG is an associate professor at the Department of Development Studies, College of Humanities and Development Studies/ and Director of Center for International Development Aid Studies at China Institute for South-South Cooperation in Agriculture (CISSCA), China Agricultural University. Dr. Zhang also serves as the Secretary of China International Development Research Network (CIDRN). She was an academic visitor of the China Centre at the University of Oxford (2011-2012) and a visiting scholar of the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Davis (2017-2018). Her research interests cover both China’s rural transformation and international development cooperation, South-South Cooperation, particularly China’s engagement in Africa, particularly Mozambique and Tanzania.
