Dr. WANG Xiaolin, Deputy Dean and Professor of the Institute for Six-sector Economy, Fudan University, the member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Leading Group on Poverty Alleviation and Development of the State Council, P. R. China. His main research areas: innovation and international development, poverty measurement, public service, digital economy, and industry convergence.
He has served as Deputy Director-General of the Information Center of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, China. He was the chief of the research division of the International Poverty Reduction Center in China (IPRCC) between 2019 and 2015.
He has also served as a consultant to international organizations such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, WFP, UNESCAP, and UNICEF, the coordinator of the China-OECD/DAC Study Group, Steering Committee member of Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network (MPPN).
His Representative works: “Poverty Measurement: Theories and Methods” (Springer Nature, forthcoming), The Quality of Growth and Poverty Reduction in China （Springer Berlin Heidelberg，2014）. Professor Wang was the co-chief editor of the South-South Cooperation Report 2018: “South-South Cooperation in a Digital World” (by FC-SSC and UNOSSC).
