Meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Health on the COVID-19 Pandemic

In implementation of their Excellencies the GCC Ministers of Health decision to hold a weekly meeting via video communication at the level of deputy ministers of health in the GCC States, with the aim of exchanging information, coordination and joint cooperation to follow up on the developments of the Coronavirus COVID-19, review the latest developments in the GCC States and discuss the procedures followed to reduce the spread of the virus.
The GCC Committee of Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Health held a meeting on Monday, 21 Rajab 1441 AH corresponding to 16 March  2020 via video communication, with the participation of the GCC General Secretariat and the Gulf Health Council.
During the meeting, they identified the practical mechanism for their weekly meetings and the information required in the joint daily report of the developments of the disease to be presented every morning to all the GCC States, and exchange their experiences in this field.
