Launch of D2P Network
To mark the launch of the Data to Policy Network, on 18 September 2023 the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation convened a panel discussion titled, ‘Data-Informed Policymaking: A Catalyst for the SDGs’.
The event was organized on the margins of the SDG Summit. During the event, high-level panelists discussed how the integration of new data sources and data-driven decision policymaking by governments and in collaboration with the private sector and the UN system can be a catalyst to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, including through South-South and Triangular cooperation.
